BatteryDex is an independent reference site for e-bike, scooter and EV batteries. It exists because battery information is scattered across spec sheets, recall notices, seller listings and forum threads, and nobody had put it in one place with sources.

How we work
Editorial rules
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| Every number has a source | Each table names its source. Government data is used as published. Seller prices and fitment are taken from the seller listing and dated. |
| We do not sell batteries | Links to sellers are plain links or affiliate links, marked as such. Rankings in tables are by the data (price, capacity), never by who pays. |
| Fitment is a starting point | Compatible-pack tables match voltage and capacity. We say so on every page. Confirm mount, connector and dimensions with the seller. |
| Corrections are public | When a figure is corrected we update the page and its "Updated" date. Larger changes are noted in the changelog below. |
| Hand-written guides are reviewed | Guides summarize manufacturer guidance and published cell research. They are not a substitute for the manual for your bike. |
Report an error or claim a listing
Email hello@batterydex.com with the page URL and what is wrong. Business owners can ask us to correct, add or remove a listing the same way. We aim to reply within a week.
